Mission & Vision
The RCUP Institute is dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and knowledge creation across all disciplines. Our mission is to support experimental and developmental research, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote innovative applications, and provide a dynamic environment for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. Our vision is to be a leading global hub for scholarly and applied excellence, recognized for creating impactful research, facilitating collaboration across fields, and nurturing a community that drives knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions for local and international challenges.
Our Fellowships
The RCUP Institute offers a range of fellowships for scholars across all career stages. Our fellowships are primarily voluntary and honorary, providing a Dubai-based institutional affiliation, intellectual engagement, and recognition. Scholars
remain independent and do not receive a salary for fellowship participation.
Financial compensation may be provided only if a fellow brings externally funded projects or grants, in which case remuneration is strictly tied to those projects.
Our fellowship program is designed to support diverse forms of scholarly contribution and collaboration.
All RCUP fellows enjoy access to our academic networks, collaborative opportunities, and Dubai-based institutional affiliation, fostering a dynamic environment for research and scholarship in the humanities.
The types of fellowships include:
1. Visiting Fellowships
- For scholars with primary appointments at other institutions
- Short-term or project-based engagement
- Remote collaboration with RCUP, while maintaining your home affiliation
2. Research Fellowships
- For independent or retired scholars
- Long-term intellectual affiliation with RCUP
- Opportunities to participate in research initiatives, publications, and mentorship
3. Training Fellowships
- For postdoctoral researchers, PhD, Masters, and Bachelors students
- Focused on professional development, research training, and capacity building
- Remote collaboration with Dubai-based research projects
